An upscale all-female residential program seeks a part-time Reflexologist to provide individual sessions to residential clients on-site.
Reflexology; is an alternative medicine involving the physical act of applying pressure to the feet, hands, or ears with specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques without the use of oil or lotion. It is based on what reflexologists claim to be a system of zones and reflex areas that they say reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands, with the premise that such work effects a physical change to the body.
Qualifications:
• Current Registered Tennessee Reflexology Certification or similar qualification

• Long-term experience and/or Associates Degree or higher
• Must have a basic understanding of the massage industry including basic medical terminology

The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for the screening, assessing, and reassessing nutrition needs. She will also develop a plan for nutrition therapy, prescribe or order food and other nutrients and monitor client response to nutrition care.
A Master’s Degree from an accredited institution with a major in foods, nutrition, or dietetics is desired. Registration as a Registered Dietitian received through the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics with at least 12 months experience working in emotional/mental health for women. Familiar with eating disorders and/or substance abuse is preferred.
Ability to work as a team member and have good management, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Possess the ability to cope constructively and appropriately with clients. Knowledge of State and Federal Statutes regarding Patient Confidentiality Laws.

A Primary Therapist is needed to provide mental health/substance abuse/co-occurring assessments, crisis management, psychotherapeutic and recreational therapeutic interventions to women residing at the Brookhaven Retreat in Seymour, Tennessee. The job duties of the Primary Therapist include the following: complete diagnostic assessments and mental status examinations and work with staff to translate this information into practical, multidisciplinary treatment plans; ensure utilization of clinical best practices, including individual/group and family therapy and agency-wide use of these practices; ensure productivity levels are met in accordance with Brookhaven's policies and procedures; provide on-site liaison for psychiatrists and medical staff, including regularly apprising them of clinical status of residents; refer clients for psychiatric evaluation/medical evaluation in a timely manner, assuring that urgent/emergent concerns are managed in concert with agency policies and procedures; complete high quality, timely charting according to agency policies and procedures; complete high quality, timely treatment plans according to agency policies and procedures; collaborate with administrative and clinical staff to assure effectiveness of interventions provided to clientele; collaborate with families, outside treaters, and others to assure their integration into the treatment planning process, as indicated; be fully involved in program evaluation efforts, including utilization of such data in day-to-day practice; assure level of care is appropriate and arrange for transfer to alternative levels of care at the discretion of clinical/medical director; assure regular focus on disposition/discharge planning, including specific recommendations designed to meet the mental health and substance abuse needs of clientele; provide and aid in providing clinical coverage as requested by supervisor; attend in-service meetings and conferences as assigned; be actively involved in all accreditation licensure related surveys/visits; communicate actively with supervisor regarding any/all high-risk events, and other concerns highlighted by Clinical/Medical Director; attend supervision and/or staff meetings with supervisor on a regular basis, as scheduled; be knowledgeable of program policies and procedures and professional code of ethics/standards of care related to position and care of clients in the program; provide clinical leadership to non-clinical and/or administrative staff in relation to day to day care of clients.
This position requires a Master of Science in Social Work; Tennessee licensure as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT; and three (3) years of experience in a co-occurring/psychiatric setting utilizing both psychotherapy and recreational therapy techniques. Experience may precede Master's degree and must include: comprehensive assessments and crisis intervention in residential settings; various psychotherapies such as CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing and psychodynamic therapy; psycho-education therapy involving recreational therapy techniques; day-to-day clinical application of evidence-based practices for treating women with substance abuse/co-occurring disorders; working knowledge of DSM-IV TR.
