Brookhaven Retreat, an upscale residential treatment facility exclusively for women with mental health and/or substance abuse issues, welcomes Scott Midgole.
Scott Migdole came to Brookhaven Retreat March 11, 2015, and worked with the primary therapists on documentation, treatment planning, compliance and policy review. The latter focused on ensuring state level of care requirements were met. This is enormously important for Brookhaven Retreat as it is in a highly unique residential setting with four distinct levels of care, each with their own clinical and administrative requirements. The consultation was a highly interactive process, allowing for case discussion and translation of statutory requirements into clinical practice.
Mr. Migdole is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Yale Department of Psychiatry and the Chief Operating Officer of Yale Behavioral Health. He has been working with Brookhaven Reatreat for over 5 years and has been enormously helpful in assisting clinical staff in developing treatment strategies for individuals with a range of behavioral health challenges. Brookhaven Retreat looks forward to his return next month, where he will continue to work with staff towards ensuring high quality treatment for Brookhaven Retreat residents while still ensuring that the range of administrative and compliance indicators are met.
Mr. Migdole enjoyed working along side two new members of Brookhaven Retreat’s therapeutic clinical team as he introduced them to the Statutes that pertain to the facility’s services.
March celebrated Brookhaven Retreat’s 9th anniversary since opening in 2006 and they are now into their 10th year of outstanding client care for which Mr. Migdole shares in the supervision. As Brookhaven Retreat enters their 10th year of nurturing services to women, they honor all of the many women of the world who have completed this program on this their anniversary month.
