Brookhaven Retreat Welcomed Scott Migdole, LCSW for On-site Peer Mentoring

Brookhaven Retreat® LLC, a unique residential treatment facility exclusively for women with mental health and/or substance abuse related challenges welcomed Scott Migdole, LCSW for on-site peer mentoring.

Scott Migdole, LCSW visited Brookhaven Retreat®, LLC for two days of peer mentoring and review for all primary clinical staff from May 6-7. Mr. Migdole’s visit focused on helping the staff to ensure that the highest quality of clinical care is provided to Brookhaven Retreat clients while meeting the full range of administrative compliance requirements. This consultative work is predicated on staff professional development and support, thereby allowing for a highly interactional day centered on education and continued learning.

Mr. Migdole is the Chief Operating Officer of Yale Behavioral Health and the Yale Program on Supervision. In addition, he is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine. He has worked with Brookhaven Retreat around clinical staff development and support for more than 5 years. His consultations regularly help staff to review clinical strategies, establish effective treatment plans and translate complex administrative requirements into practice. This helps to support the Brookhaven Retreat philosophy around ensuring the uniqueness, safety and comfort of each client served at the facility.
