Brookhaven Founder Appears on The Mind of the Matter

Jacqueline Dawes, founder of Brookhaven Retreat, recently made a guest appearance on Dr. Susan Hickman's radio show The Mind of the Matter to discuss addiction and recovery for women. Ms. Dawes reveals the tragedy that led her to found this very unique treatment center and what she perceives as the special emotional needs of women. Specific attention is also given to her methods for helping women to develop coping skills that last. Brookhaven is a treatment center for adult women who are struggling with various issues including addiction, depression, trauma, emotional dysregulation, bereavement, bipolar disorder, post traumatic stress syndrome, and postpartum, to mention a few of the wide spectrum of mental health diagnoses.
