Brookhaven Retreat Will Attend 15th Fall Psychiatric Symposium

Brookhaven Retreat is excited to announce that they will be attending the 15th Fall Psychiatric Symposium. The symposium will be December 6-7, 2012 at the Knoxville Marriot. The Mental Health Association of East Tennessee, a non-profit organization dedicated to education the community about mental health issues, sponsors the 15th Fall Psychiatric Symposium. Brookhaven Retreat will be setting up a booth to distribute informative material for those present at the symposium.

Jacqueline Dawes, Dr. Julia Wood, along with other staff will be in attendance to help answer any and all questions regarding the care and services that are given at Brookhaven Retreat. While at the symposium, Brookhaven Retreat’s new “Tell Me How You Really Are Feeling,” booklets will be distributed to those in attendance. The feelings booklets are a new addition that owner, Jacqueline Dawes created for clients to use as a tool to help express the emotions they are feeling while in treatment.
