Addiction Treatment for Women

Brookhaven Retreat is a unique voluntary residential treatment facility specially designed to help women with addiction recovery, sustance abuse, depression, emotional trauma, and other issues affecting mental health.
Upon entering Brookhaven Retreat, women may need detoxification from drugs and/or alcohol, as well as time to gain emotional stability. Close-care quarters in the detoxification center allow our medical staff to monitor clients, insuring their medical needs are being addressed. We have RNs available around the clock, supervised by a nursing director and three physicians.
Chronic pain is common for many women. In some cases, managing the pain with medication was the doorway to addiction. At Brookhaven Retreat, clients have the opportunity to understand their bodies and experience alternative techniques for dealing with pain. Clients will learn drug-free methods for managing chronic pain.
