Current Openings
Close Care Provider
Close Care Providers (CCPs) work directly with each client to understand our program schedule, expectations, assignments, and other community elements. They assist clients with the day-to-day aspects of self-regulation and provide transportation to and from off-site activities and appointments. CCPs may also lead or co-facilitate educational groups.
We have several openings:
- Full-time second shift (2:30-11 p.m.); 40 hours/week; every other weekend
- Part-time; 24 hours/week; Saturday-Sunday 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m.; Friday or Monday 2:30 p.m.-11 p.m.
- PRN; all shifts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology or other human relations field
- Full-time position: Skills and experience working with and leading groups in artistic expression activities and projects
- Current state driver's license with F endorsement
- Current private auto insurance
- Current CPR or BLS certification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly listening and empathy
- Flexibility, resilience, patience, and adaptability
- Experience with crisis intervention
Communications Coordinator
Our clients come from across the country, and inquiries about our program pour in daily via telephone and e-mail. Our Communications Coordinators are often the first voices that respond to these inquiries. Candidates will utilize superior process and customer service skills to respond to inquiries; greet and direct visitors (vendors, family members, public, professional); execute special projects; and complete daily responsibilities in support of clients, Admissions and Brookhaven staff. Days of work/hours of work: 40 hours/week; set schedule that is a combination of days, evenings and rotating weekends
Requirements:
- Associates in business- or communications-related field or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Flexibility, resilience, hardiness and emotional intelligence
- Excellent computer skills
Primary Therapist
Individualize each client’s care while maintaining the philosophy and guidelines of the program. Carry a caseload of 6-8 clients, managing the care of these clients for the duration of their stay in treatment (30, 60, or 90 days). Facilitate core processing groups, psychoeducational groups, individual, and family sessions. Update the referral source as well as the family/loved ones on client progress. Provide some case management, such as helping clients with discharge planning (including scheduling appointments for both therapists and psychiatrists in home area after discharge). Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team daily. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within clinical charts, including psychosocial assessments, daily notes, and treatment planning.
Qualifications:
- PhD in psychology or related field desirable
- LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW, or SPE in conjunction with MS and minimum 5 years counseling experience required
- Experience with substance abuse, dual diagnosis, residential treatment, or mental health is essential
- Current CPR certification required
- Knowledge of Joint Commission standards desirable
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Under the supervision of a psychiatrist, function as an integral part of a multi-disciplinary medical team. Conduct psychiatric evaluations, and manage psychopharmacological treatment for a diverse adult female population. Consult and collaborate with other team members in the development and implementation of treatment plans. Contribute to the professional knowledge and growth of the team. Collect, document, and analyze client data. Coordinate client care with ancillary clinical services. Make appropriate referrals to consulting medical staff. This is a part-time position, 3 days/week, with rotating on-call/weekend scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Graduate degree and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Certification with experience in psychiatry
- Board certified
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years experience in general psychiatry; experience in adult residential treatment preferred
- Superior diagnostic and clinical skills
- Ability to prioritize and perform with minimal direction
- General knowledge of treatment of substance abuse highly desirable
- Current DEA certificate
- Current BLS and First Aid certifications
Registered Nurse
Our nurses assist patients with detoxification, medication management, and monitoring of general well being. May also lead educational sessions with patients.
Days of work/hours of work - multiple openings - please specify which opening you are applying for:
- Full-time night shift (7 p.m.-7 a.m.); 36 hours/week
- Part time night shift (7 p.m.-7 a.m.), every Thursday and every other Wednesday
- PRN, days and nights
Requirements:
- Current TN license required, along with current BLS and First Aid certifications
- 1 year experience with substance abuse or psychiatric nursing preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years nursing experience
- Knowledge of Joint Commission standards desirable
- Rigorous attention to detail and procedural requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly listening and empathy
- Flexibility, resilience, patience, and adaptability
- Experience with crisis intervention
